Morning Preparations – 6:30 AM
The day begins early at Grissom Service Company, where the cooling systems never sleep, and neither do we. As I arrive at our facility, the morning sun already promises another scorching Florida day – the kind that keeps our team busy helping homeowners stay comfortable.
Daily Briefing – 7:00 AM
Our morning huddle is essential for reviewing the day’s service calls. We check our inventory of parts, ensure our service vehicles are fully stocked, and review any special customer requirements. Safety protocols are always our top priority before heading out.
First Calls – 8:00 AM
Today’s schedule includes:
• Three AC maintenance inspections
• Two system diagnostic calls
• One complete system installation
Mid-Day – 12:30 PM
A quick lunch break in between calls gives us time to rehydrate and review any emergency service requests that have come in. Summer in Florida means we’re always ready to adjust our schedule for urgent cooling needs.
Afternoon Service – 1:30 PM
The afternoon brings more challenging work as temperatures peak. We focus on:
• Completing thorough system checks
• Cleaning or replacing filters
• Checking refrigerant levels
• Ensuring proper airflow
• Testing thermostats
End of Day – 5:00 PM
Before heading home, we:
• Complete service documentation
• Restock vehicles for tomorrow
• Update customer files
• Plan tomorrow’s route
Working at Grissom Service Company means being part of a team dedicated to keeping our community comfortable. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors maintain their indoor comfort, and that’s what makes this job rewarding.
Remember, proper AC maintenance isn’t just about comfort – it’s about efficiency, air quality, and peace of mind. That’s why we take pride in every service call we complete.
After Hours
Even after the regular workday ends, we maintain an on-call rotation for emergency services because we understand that AC issues don’t always happen during business hours. It’s all part of our commitment to exceptional service.
